Well, Dang

Every time I think I'm just about finished with my two color mitten, I realize I wasn't paying enough attention and have to rip back. I hate that!!!! lol

The first time, I was doing little happy dances because I was FINALLY to the decrease portion of my day, when I realized that somewhere along the way, I jumped the track and confused the colors so that the side seam stopped being blue and turned white and looked very odd.

So, I ripped back and began again. No biggie. I did it once already, right? How had could it be the second time.

Second time was a charm. Had it all knit up. Everything was where it is supposed to be. YAY!

Now for the decrease. Did the decreases. I was finally at the last two rows. Suddenly it dawned on me that I had four extra stitches. I seriously toyed with the idea of not caring, BUT, if you've spent that much time on something, it seems silly to let it get FUBAR'd in the last two rows, no?

So, I ripped back AGAIN!

Then, I laid it down on the table until I no longer felt like kicking it across the room.

Unfortunately, now I have a cold or flu type thing that makes me feel like something is kicking ME across the room. So, the decreases will just have to wait.

Maybe tomorrow.
